excellent yoga workouts Feb 05, 2002 This is the best yoga book for pregnacy I have come across. I started practicing yoga two years ago, and I was looking for a book that would tell me what was safe and beneficial during pregancy, how to modify my poses and how to add new ones. This book did it. The workouts are based on *real*, familiar yoga poses, with some modifications to protect you and your baby. Frankly, I worked until the last minute, and never got around to practicing the meditations suggested, but the yoga saved my back. It never hurt once! Don't be put off by the new-agey "aura" of this book, if it is not your style. The workouts are just great!

Two thumbs up. May 14, 2002 I found this book to be very thorough, helpful and empowering. Having done yoga before pregnancy, I wanted to know what poses would still be "safe." I got the answer to that question and more. I highly recommend this book!
